Eka Adhipathi (The Director)

Very few Sinhala stage plays have stood the test of time among which ‘Eka Adhipathi’ (The Director) of Dharmasiri Bandaranayaka stand out as an exceptional experience by two generations of theatergoers spanning from 1970s to the present day. In 1976, it won seven awards including Best Actor whose role was played by him and best Original Production at the stage drama Festival. From its inaugural staging till 1993, the play continuously mesmerized the Sinhala audience with 1400 shows being successfully performed all over.
It’s my luck to have chance work with him in his new Production ‘Eka Adhipathi’ in Production side and as a coordinator.

Amazing Race - Asia (Sri Lanka)
I'm glad that I have a chance to worked with AXN Asia team. Amazing Race Asia programme selected my country to held a part of the Amazing race.
I worked as a location coordinator for this event.

The Nature of this Project
The function of the initial project is to develop the skills of the children who live in areas, where hardship and difficulties prevail. Bur aim is to see that, children belonging to different races and religions work in friendly co-existence, and to create a future generation possessing a free mind. Programmes will be conducted in an identified region over a period of six months, at the rate of twice a month, during week-ends of during school holidays. A group of children between 7-15 years in those different areas will be selected for these programmes. This selection will be made primarily at school level. The selector with be made through the primary participation of school principals and teachers.
The programme will be conducted by prom expert in the field. These experts will be taken to our venue from Colombo.
Aims and Objectives.
The main objective is to improve the talent and skills of all of all children, all over Sri Lanka. Our primary aim is to improve the value system and the extra normal activities of talent school children, to push forward their skills and talents, with the guidance and the help of their parents and teachers and to hand over the future to a younger generation that cherishes values of freedom, unrestricted by any narrow – minded limitations and taboos.
The improving of the talents of children will be effected through work shops. It is expected to ensure their progress though their process.
